Hmlet Tabata
Where the charm of Showa-era nostalgia meets the ease of modern living.
Hmlet Tabata is conveniently located within walking distance of Tabata Station, served by both the JR Yamanote Line and JR Keihin-Tohoku Line.
You can get to Tokyo Station in 11 minutes, Ueno in 8, and Shinjuku in 18—so getting around the city is super easy. You can also reach Hamamatsucho and Shinagawa stations without transfers—ideal for those who frequently travel by plane or Shinkansen.
The station area offers a full range of daily essentials, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and a number of locally loved shopping streets. These community-based arcades not only support your everyday needs but also offer a warm, nostalgic atmosphere unique to the neighborhood.
Tabata is also known as a literary town, once home to renowned Japanese writers like Ryunosuke Akutagawa and Kan Kikuchi. Within its quiet residential streets, you’ll find remnants of Showa-era charm—an ambiance that has even drawn cinematic attention as a setting for Makoto Shinkai’s film “Weathering With You”.
Great city access, a chill vibe, and a cool mix of local culture—Hmlet Tabata strikes that perfect balance between convenience and character. Why not make it the start of your next chapter?

Stayed for 1 month to less than 6 monthsThe apartment was compact, as is typical in Tokyo, but it accommodated the three of us very well. It was clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the furniture and household essentials we needed, and everything seemed new and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay and were fully satisfied.

Stayed for 1 month to less than 6 monthsI had a fantastic month-long stay at a Hmlet apartment in Tokyo's Tabata area, where the team's proactive communication and professional service made the entire rental process completely stress-free. The apartment was absolutely amazing! with comfortable beds and convenient amenities. I truly appreciated the welcoming touch of complimentary toiletries. We were as well extremely looked after by the incredibly responsive customer service team and we would absolutely choose to stay with Hmlet again for our next trip.

Stayed for 1 month to less than 6 monthsThe person in charge was very responsive, and there were no issues such as cleanliness or noise in the newly built property, but I think the following improvements are needed. ① There was no veranda or washer/dryer, so it was said that they would dry it with a bathroom dryer, but since there wasn't enough space to hang laundry for a family of 4, and there was only one pole, it was very difficult to dry it. Since the rent is high, I definitely wanted them to install a washer/dryer with a certain capacity. ② The position of the exhaust port of the attached stick vacuum cleaner was too downward, and surrounding trash was blown away during use, making it difficult to use. ③ The anti-scratch felt that was attached to the legs of tables and chairs quickly became sticky and peeled off, and glue stuck to the floor, making it difficult to remove. I felt that something made of slippery material was good.
